Duties
| The Junior Accountant will perform both accounting and administrative tasks in accordance with the established guidelines and procedures. Essential responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
● General clerical duties such as data entry, arranging meetings and department events
● Prepare general ledger account reconciliations
● Prepare journal entries per instructions
● Prepare daily/monthly balance sheet schedules
● Compile daily/monthly cas requested by the team and or as directed by management
● Assist in researching and investigating issues as directed

Skills
-
- Minimum of an associate's degree with accounting course work or commensurate accounting related work experience
- Understanding of basic financial statements and accounting principals
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; Google Suite of Products a plus
- Must have good organizational skills, analytical skills, interpersonal communication skills (written and oral) and be detail oriented
- Able to maintain sensitive and confidential information
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in team driven environment yet be able to work independently to complete daily expectations
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work in a remote work environment with the flexibility of meeting in the office (if needed and possible based on location of new-hire)
- Must be flexible, customer focused and an agent of change
- Possess a positive attitude
Education

- Minimum of one year of office experience, preferably in accounting or related roles
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related Business field
- Knowledge of Oracle Financial software
- Credit Card Processing or Bankcard Industry experience
Compensation: $30.00 per hour
