Senior Frontend Developer(ASP.NET)
Full Time • Fully Remote - US
Our client, a newly established insurance technology unit within a leading commercial insurance provider, is building a data-driven platform to serve small businesses. The team is seeking a software developer to help design and develop new web applications, maintain system documentation, troubleshoot workflow issues, and support internal and external business needs. The ideal candidate will contribute to full-stack development, with a strong emphasis on front-end technologies, and thrive in a startup-style, fast-paced environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Front-end focus: Strong experience with Angular (v10+) and modern JavaScript (async/await, promises, modules, OOP).
- Full Stack: ASP.NET Core and SQL Server proficiency required.
- Bonus Skills: Node.js, React, and JavaScript library development experience.
- Startup Mentality: Adaptability, initiative, and thought leadership are essential. Expect to contribute within 2–3 weeks of onboarding.
Experience Required:
- 3+ years in web application development using Angular, ASP.NET Core, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Familiarity with source control tools and deployment practices.
- Insurance domain knowledge is a plus.
Technical Proficiency:
- Core skills: C#, .NET Core, Web APIs, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL Server, JSON, and authentication/authorization.
- Tools: Visual Studio, VS Code, SSMS, Postman, Git (GitHub/Bitbucket).
- Understanding of software development patterns and best practices.
This is a remote position.
Compensation: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
