Overview
Our client - a major Asset Management firm is seeking an Experienced Data Solution Architect (DSA) to join their Data Architecture & Modeling team in New York. This high-visibility role will shape the firm's enterprise data model and deliver business-ready data for bankers and senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines strong business engagement with hands-on technical skills in data modeling, SQL, Python, and modern analytics platforms. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days a week on-site in the NYC office

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with bankers and business leaders to capture workflows and define data domains.
- Design and maintain logical and semantic data models aligned with enterprise architecture.
- Develop business-ready datasets using SQL, Python, and Databricks.
- Collaborate with data engineers on ingestion, transformation, and enrichment of data.
- Prototype and validate models before production implementation.
- Present data models and insights to stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business and technology.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in data architecture, solution design, or data-driven business roles (financial services or consulting preferred).
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python (including PySpark), and Databricks or similar platforms.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, semantics, and master data management (MDM).
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT, APIs, and data integration patterns.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex concepts across teams.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing strategic design with hands-on execution.

Compensation: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour
