Data Migration & Remediation Lead
Our client, a third-generation management consulting firm, is seeking an execution-oriented Data Migration & Remediation Lead to support large-scale enterprise data transformation initiatives. This role focuses on resolving complex data issues during system migrations, including data consolidation, quality remediation, and legacy system conversions.
The role partners with technology, operations, compliance, and business teams to resolve data discrepancies, define transformation rules, and manage remediation workflows to ensure accurate, production-ready data.
Required Experience

This role focuses on resolving complex data issues during system migrations, including data consolidation, quality remediation, and legacy system conversions.
The role partners with technology, operations, compliance, and business teams to resolve data discrepancies, define transformation rules, and manage remediation workflows to ensure accurate, production-ready data.
Required Experience
- 8–15 years in data migration, remediation, or data quality programs
- Experience with large-scale legacy data environments
- Strong expertise in data mapping, transformation, and validation
- Proven experience resolving client/customer master data issues
- Ability to work cross-functionally with business and compliance teams
Key Responsibilities
Data Migration & Conversion
Data Migration & Conversion
- Lead data migration workshops to analyze source and target systems
- Define data mapping and transformation logic
- Identify mapping gaps, semantic mismatches, and embedded legacy rules
Data Quality Remediation
- Investigate and remediate large-scale data quality issues across millions of records
- Resolve duplicates, conflicting PII, address discrepancies, and inconsistent reference data
- Define remediation rules and exception handling processes
Workflow & Decision Orchestration
- Coordinate with data owners, operations, advisors, and compliance to resolve data conflicts
- Design and manage remediation workflows with appropriate review and approval
- Ensure alignment with data governance and regulatory requirements
Validation & Controls
- Define validation rules and reconciliation checks
- Support data testing and migration validation cycles
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and auditability throughout migration efforts

Compensation: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
