Our Client, a leading independent global investment banking advisory firm, is seeking an experienced " Senior Data Governance & MDM Specialist " to support strategic business and technology initiatives within the Global Technology organization for their New York City Office(Three times a week onsite)
Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Data Governance & MDM Specialist with 4–7 years of experience in Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), or Data Management. The role focuses on building enterprise data governance, improving data quality, and implementing MDM processes using Python, SQL, and Databricks.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Data Governance policies, standards, and stewardship.
- Build MDM processes including concordance, survivorship, and entity matching.
- Develop Python & SQL solutions for data quality, automation, validation, and profiling.
- Define and monitor data quality rules, dashboards, and remediation processes.
- Partner with Data Engineers, Architects, and Business teams to deliver trusted enterprise data.
- Maintain governance documentation, business glossary, and data standards.
Required Skills
- 4–7 years in Data Governance, MDM, Data Management, or Analytics Engineering.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Experience with Databricks, Jupyter Notebooks, or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Data Quality, MDM, Data Stewardship, and Governance.
- Familiarity with Excel, BI tools, and CRM platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- Experience with DealCloud, Salesforce, or other CRM platforms.
- Knowledge of Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, or Private Markets.
- Experience with Entity Matching, Concordance, Survivorship, and enterprise MDM solutions.
Flexible work from home options available.
Compensation: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
